UK cyber security and data protection consultancy

Cyber Security Team · 2026

The work the panel recognised

The Team category rewards how a group of people works together, and that is where Evalian stood out. The firm keeps two disciplines that often sit apart, cyber security and data protection, inside the same team, so a client facing a breach question and a client facing a GDPR question speak to colleagues who share context. The analysts in the managed SOC, the penetration testers and the data protection consultants pass findings to one another rather than working in isolation.

That joined-up way of operating shows in the detail. The SOC runs from the UK and stays staffed at the times attackers prefer, the quiet hours when a single alert can decide how a night ends. The consultancy side guides organisations through ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, holding CREST approval and NCSC accreditation that let clients trust the assessment behind a certificate. The panel recognised the people who hold that breadth together day to day.

Why a Team award matters

Most cyber defence is a collective effort. A SOC analyst spots the first sign of trouble, a tester confirms how an attacker would reach it, and a data protection adviser works out what the law requires next. The 2026 programme created five organisation categories precisely to honour that shared work, and Evalian’s win belongs to the analysts, testers and consultants who do it. The Cyber Security Awards judged only the submitted evidence, against the published criteria, and that is what this page records.
