The work the panel recognised

The Company of the Year category looks past marketing and at delivery. Three things stood out about Bridewell. Its security operations centre runs without a break, so an analyst is watching a client’s estate at three in the morning as surely as at three in the afternoon. Its consulting and testing teams carry the accreditations that regulated sectors actually demand, from CREST through to NCSC recognition. And the firm chooses hard ground to work on, concentrating much of its effort on critical national infrastructure where the stakes are highest.

The category honours a provider whose people do the unglamorous, repeatable work well. Detection that fires when it should. Advice that survives contact with an auditor. Tests that find the gap before someone else does. The award belongs to the people who built and ran that practice, judged on what they delivered.

Beyond the award

Bridewell’s 2026 recognition followed earlier honours at the Cyber Security Awards, including Best Cyber Security Service Provider in 2025. Each was judged separately, on the work in front of the panel that year, against the same published criteria. Recognition here is decided on merit. It is never bought, and that is the whole point of it.
